Stuff has come my way over the last week or so, a lot of it mean spirited. I've been really off, sad and depressed. Today I am on again. This morning someone abandoned a Russian blue kitten on my doorstep. My car was in the driveway and they didn't even knock.
Sometime in the morning I heard what I thought was a car door close but I looked out the window and didn't see anything. Later Gary came home and said a kitten was downstairs with two cans of cat food. What? Our male cat Barney doesn't like other cats and he particularly doesn't like male cats, so we are looking for home for him. Barney was hiding under the deck, snarling and growling.
He is very loving, doesn't scratch or bite and when put in a kitty litter immediately used it. Very smart and purrs like an engine. He wants someone to love him. We don't have a lot of money but are willing to help with food and neuter costs. Meanwhile the needs of this sweet little guy have taken my mind off of the bad spirits swirling around. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
He is a beauty, Linda. All the best.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, he got a new home but I am still missing him.
DeleteHe is an absolute charmer, and if we lived closer I would have him in a heart beat.
ReplyDeleteI hope that things improve for you.
Hi Sue, thanks, slowly coming around.
DeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely cat, I do hope that someone is able to take him soon. It will be difficult with Barney, but.... hopefully they will reach some sort of understanding enough for the next few days whilst you are waiting for a new owner to come along. I am sorry that you have been having a difficult and depressing time, and do send you the very best from us all down here in NZ.. Pxx
Hi Peter, thanks, hope you and Laura survived the earthquake, thinking of you.
DeleteDefinitely a cute cat. Hope it finds a good home.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, time to move along he got a new home.
DeleteOh, the poor, sweet, dear little thing. How I'd love to take him, if I could, that is.
