Winter Wonderland 2017

We woke up to a winter wonderland outside. Our high today will be 18 F. I took the photos behind the screen because I didn't want to go outside it's so cold.

The snow won't melt for a couple of days when the temperature is due to go back up again. Luckily we stocked up on supplies. Today we will have split pea soup. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  4. Yes it's pretty when you can stay inside and watch it thru the windows! I'm getting photos of my place in Idaho, it looks like a forgotten cabin in the forest, so much snow! Here in Austin, it was 18 this a.m. with a wind chill of 10. I cooked a big pot of corn chowder for the week-end. We had split pea soup last night,Yum.
Stay Cozy and enjoy. It certainly is soup weather.

  6. We too got a little snow... just flurries, but a little stuck... here in Dallas. The sun is out this afternoon, so what little we had will be gone soon. But I agree, stay inside and enjoy it!

    1. Hi Rian, thanks, I was happy to see all the snow especially since we were expecting a low of 5 and the snow insulates plants so hopefully most survived.

    1. Hi Lee, thanks, something to be said for your weather since so many plants will grow there that won't make it through our winters.
