Look at my baby peas coming up. The green in the middle row are more shallots. I'll soon provide a climbing mechanism for the pea tendrils to cling.
Here's the other side of the bin with peas. I'll plant the middle in about a week so I'll have successive harvesting.
Here are the shallots in the metal bin. I can't wait to harvest my crops. Thanks for reading and for all you comments.
Isn't it exciting when plants break through the soil...?
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks with all the rain we're getting they are growing more than an inch per day.
ReplyDeleteI'll be there for the harvesting, Linda! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lee, thanks, I love sugar snap peas and they are so expensive, I like to saute them with a pinch of sugar and a dash of butter they are so good.
DeleteHi Lee, it would be a real treat if you came to visit, you'd enjoy it and so would I; I am sure.
DeleteIsn't it wonderful to watch things grow?
ReplyDeleteHi Rian, thanks, yes I am amazed each day I go out there and we have been getting so much rain and I think the rain has some natural fertilizer in it because they grow even faster than when I water them with the hose.
