Campfire
It's really not cold enough for a campfire but the smoke chases the mosquitos away after sunset. We had cajun shrimp with cajun green beans one day, another day left over red snapper. I even made a papaya salsa. We hit some thrift stores and Gary scored some almost-new T shirts and we got a few books to read. I'm reading Mile Zero by Thomas Sanchez; it'll take me a while to read this one. Gary got a book of short stories by Stephen King which he said is quite good. We might go to Dauphin Island, a bird sanctuary, tomorrow, stay tuned for that post. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

There is something about a campfire.
ReplyDeleteYour holiday sounds blissful - which is lovely.
Hi Sue, thanks, yes there is something about a campfire, it embodies relaxation I think.
DeleteEnjoy that campfire. We could use the heat up here in the mountains!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, it actually got a little chilly down here but not like up there though.
