White Rabbit and Happy May Day to you all.
Love your bird convention - and hope they agree in their nest better than the feathered variety which is visiting us.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, I hope they all get along; the large ones are protecting the smaller ones in the middle.
DeleteNeat photos! I will look forward to see them glazed :)
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, thanks, I can't wait to see them all glazed.
DeleteGreat birds and kiln tips! It reminds me of the time someone at my old co-op did not measure so three of my mug rims stuck to the top of our brand new kiln. Of course they were a gift, so it was a two way loss! A lot of unhappy campers were present!
ReplyDeleteHi Suzi, thanks, I usually eye ball them, but for some reason this time I used the ruler and I was measuring a bowl and not the butter dish cover, yikes I just lucked out, thanks goodness. mug rims to the kiln lid, no good, hopefully nothing blew up, I know they were good and dry though.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're being productive, and now on to the glazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, yep finally got around to firing; I think I must have seasonal affective disorder in the winter because I don't feel like doing much, so glad warmer weather is now here.
ReplyDeleteWhite rabbit to you, you busy potter. The season begins!
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, I slacked off almost all winter, now need to make up for wasted time.
ReplyDeleteLove the bird convention! Can't wait to see the finished pieces...
ReplyDeleteHi Rian, thanks, busy glazing all this work, have an idea to display the birds in a small cardboard box filled with excelsior natural color like a nest searching for supplies now.
