He could be trapped somewhere and may get himself free... Hopefully he will turn up soon. We had a cat disappear for 3 months and eventually was picked up by the animal shelter. Luckily her collar was still on, but had twisted around her neck and arm. They called us and sure enough, it was Betsy. She was very thin, but otherwise fine.
Oh! No! I hope Barney is okay and comes home soon. I hope he's just out celebrating Independence Day.
I feel your upset, Linda. This upsets me.
I have two cats...and I love them dearly, with all my heart...more than anything else. I understand. My positive thoughts go out to you for Barney's safe return.
You mentioned in your previous post that you've been receiving a lot of rain...perhaps Barney has found a dry spot in the meantime.
One time a few years ago, Shama, my female cat went missing...went walk-about for five days. And then, she just walked the the door with a brief miaow and a flick of her tail as if she'd just been out for a few minutes' stroll!
In the meantime,I'd gone out of my mind trying to find her, and there she was....she just nonchalantly walked in as if nothing untoward had gone on!!!!
Hopefully, Barney just didn't want to get his paws wet.
Oh Linda, I am so very sorry to read Barney is missing. I talk to the dog more than I talk to humans these days. I truly hope he finds his way home to you❤️
I am so sorry. Sending oceans of good wishes flooding your way.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, if only.
DeleteHoping he'll return soon, safe and sound!
ReplyDeleteHi Kym, thanks, I keep wishing.

ReplyDeleteHi Rian, thanks, that's why we called everyone and everyone here knows him, no luck.
DeleteI hope he shows up soon, perhaps having found some interesting wild things to investigate.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, he always comes each day, no matter what.

Hi Lee, thanks, he stays closer to home when it rains, still no sign
DeleteThinking of you, Linda...hoping against hope that Barney has returned. Don't give up on him if he hasn't yet.
