A world gone crazy, recline in the mist
Give your weary soul a place to rest
Lean back into soft pillowy air
Breathe in, breathe out, without a care.
In the dripping mist are possibilities
Solace, suggestions, defining moments
Vistas, visions, future intentions
Some lost, some acted upon, most not
Still and all, go forth, recline in the mist.
Lovely poem!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, sometimes I just have to take solace in what nature provides me.
DeleteI wish. How I wish.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, I keep hopeful some of the time in moments like this.
Delete"without a care..." Is that possible?
ReplyDeleteHi Rian, thanks, not sure it is possible at my ripe old age when I have found that being old is much harder than being young but sometimes I am hopeful.
DeleteLovely, Linda....
ReplyDeleteI'm reclining in the mist this morning...not outside, of course...but it is misty outside a leftover from beautiful heavy rain we received overnight through until about an hour ago. Wonderful! Wonderful! :)
Hi Lee, thanks, we have to take the moments we are giving when we can and relish them as best we can.
DeleteThat is a beautiful photo and equally beautiful poem Linda, love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, thanks, the mist hangs over a creek over that across the valley from our home and it dissipates quickly but is wonderful when it lays gently at the base of the hill.
DeleteLove the poem and what a beautiful outlook!
ReplyDeleteHi Nastya, thanks, and welcome, I am glad you are enjoying my blog; I will surely visit yours.
