Veterans Day - It's the little things

thanks to all who have served and are serving.

At our local veterans day car show this past weekend, a four year old girl walked up to Gary and handed him a hand painted (modernist style) flag. An adult had written in 'Thank you for your service'. Sometimes it's the little things.

Two young boys later walked up to Gary and said 'Thank you for your service'. Then they said we'd shake your hand but we're not allowed to. Sometimes it's the little things.

I've been doing research on which camera to buy. Can you recommend one? This year the autumn leaves are tremendous. We sit on the screen porch in the afternoon with Bonkers and just enjoy. When the leaves fall across the sky in the wind, Bonkers chases them back and forth. Sometimes it's the little things.

Be Safe, Be Well

  1. Sweet story Linda, and passing those on to our young ones is the best gift of all. Thank you for sharing. Does the heart good. I seem to be taking more and more photos with my iPhone these days.
