A few pieces I've been reluctant to part with.
Maybe one of these days.
I'm anxious to try a new clay tool I splurged on
can't believe it's been a month since I got it.
We have had several home projects we were working on
Doesn't that sound like a good excuse.
Be Safe, Be Well
You said it...your environment is important. As are the pieces that speak to you. Thanks for commenting over on my blog. I sold both of my pieces, and now get to replace them. It's a great little gallery!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, I somehow knew they would sell quickly, congrats
DeleteHang on to them until you are sure that they will go to someone who loves them at least as much as you do. And if that means never letting them go, then that is fine too.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, they remind me that I can still make things that please myself and hopefully please someone else.
DeleteKeep them until it feels right to let them go.
ReplyDeleteYou will open the new clay when you are ready.
Enjoy the day.
Hi Suzi, thanks, perhaps now that the weather is warming every so slightly.
DeleteIt is difficult...very difficult...to part with some things. If so....I think the hint is..."hold onto them"! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are all beautiful pieces. I would not part with them if I were you! I know you've made thousands of pieces, but those are special to your heart. Maybe display them all together in one cabinet, a mini gallery. Why not make others that are similar & sell those?
