Yarrows

red yarrow has been blooming for over two weeks in my garden

Yarrows are easy plants to grow and thanks to those who develop new varieties, it now comes in a multitude of colors and sizes. Follow the link to see all the choices available. One variety I used to grow in my mountain home in California was woolly yarrow. I have yet to see this dwarf variety ever since them. It grows as a ground cover and has yellow blooms which stand above a dark green bed of fuzzy leaves. If you have a sunny dry place in your garden try one of the many yarrows, you won't be disappointed. As you can see they also make excellent cut flowers.

    1. Hi Sue, thanks, I've kept that vase for myself, and as I was looking it I decided that I need to make more wavy ones like this one.
