Mincemeat Pie

Does anyone eat mincemeat pie any longer? Have you ever had mincemeat pie? Gary says this type of pie went out in the Victorian age, as if I'm that old. I have a craving and I can't find any jars of mincemeat anywhere around here. I don't really like ordering online. Since I have to be gluten free, I'd have to make the pie myself. 1. Himself loves them, and fortunately they are in the stores here. It is many a year since I have made them.

    1. Hi Sandi, thanks, I think basically nowadays it is just minced fruit and doesn't contain minced meat.

  4. I buy them nowadays, too...too lazy to make them, to be honest! :) Anyway, there's only me to cater for...my two furry rascals don't like them. I've already devoured a packet!!

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, Linda...take good care. :)
