Prosciutto Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Dates!
These are so rich we could hardly eat four.
Dates are very nutritious.
Mine were stuffed with blue cheese.
Gary's were stuffed with smoked gouda.
Take a fresh date and barely slice it lengthwise to remove the seed.
Stuff the inside with cheese and squeeze closed.
Wrap tightly with thin sliced prosciutto.

Set the dates in a parchment lined baking dish,
and bake in preheated 400 F oven for 10-20 minutes,
till the prosciutto is looking crispy.
Oh my word these are so tasty and quite sweet.
Amazingly I saw the package sayd they are good till August.
What a long shelf life; and Gary is clammering for more of these.
