1cup jalapeno, chopped
1 cup bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 cup white vinegar
6 cups sugar
6 oz. of Certo liquid pectin
3 drops of green food coloring
Use your blender or chopper, and a 1/2 of vinegar to chop peppers fine. Combined peppers, the other 1 cup of vinegar, and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil. Next add Certo liquid pectin and food coloring and bring to a full rolling boil and boil for one minute. Skim foam. Ladle into canning jars and hot water bath for 10 minutes. This is for 1/2 pints. 15 minutes for pints.
Pepper jelly is great on crackers with cream cheese or as a accompaniment for chops or chicken. Enjoy !
