Found out these are honey ants and are not destructive
or harmful at all, perhaps just a nuisance.
Some had wings and others did not.
They were walking around on my deck railing tops.
They don't seem particularly aggressive.
Sorry about the poor quality of photos.
i am wary of ants. Their bites bring me up in humungous welts.
