First Attempt Eucalyptus Eco Print

slightly disappointed on my eco printing of eucalyptus leaves for my first attempt. Scour cotton bandana then AA mordant, chalk bath, placing eucalyptus (dried leaves soaked in warm water for one hour), fresh marigold petals, and dried red onion skins. Steamed 3 hours. There is a faint impression of the eucalyptus leaves.

Do you think if I had soaked the eucalyptus leaves in iron water I'd see them better? Or should I do an iron dip post steaming? Thanks Back to the drawing board, or the steaming board should I say.
