Lemon Butter Maple Salmon Steaks


Lemon Maple Salmon Steaks

In a cast iron pain, sauté one chopped shallot till translucent
and caramelized in butter and olive oil. Add salmon steaks
 and cook for 5 minutes on side one, add 2 minced garlic,
juice of one half a lemon and 2 tablespoon of maple syrup.
Flip over and continue cooking tilting pan to baste
with the butter, lemon, maple syrup juices till cooked through.
I served it with canned asparagus which I thought would be
mushy but they were not that bad.
We couldn't eat the whole salmon steak so today will be leftovers.
