Since October 3 last year I've been bedridden off and on and had to beg for help. Maneuvering the health system is exhausting. At one point my BP was 90/50 and hospital wanted me to take my lowering BP medication. Sometimes folks are alive because they have their wits about them. Luckily I worked in hospitals for years and do a lot of research on my own.
I still have a myriad things wrong with me and now a pile of bills. We shall see.
Good luck. Negotiating the medical minefield is never fun. And often expensive.
