Shrimp Stir Fry


Shrimp Stir Fry

I forgot to take a photo of the finished dish.


1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
corn starch to coat shrimp
1 onion cut up
10 mini peppers cut up
6 garlic cloves minced
olive oil to coat pan
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 pats of butter
2 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon gf soy sauce (aminos)
1 teaspoon chili oil
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon of corn starch mixed with cold water till mixture is blended

Sauté onion and peppers till soft in olive oil, then set aside. Add 2 pats of butter and sauté minced garlic till fragrant then add shrimp and sauté till barely cooked. Add mirin, sesame oil, aminos, chili oil, and hoisin sauce. Add pepper and onions back into pan. Add corn starch slurry and cook till thick. Stir corn starch slurry before adding since corn starch tends to settle out. Serve over rice. So delicious, all cooked on the stovetop.
