Yesterday morning we took a walk on the beach near our home. The
beach is at Fort Island in Crystal River. There's a board walk through what's just like a jungle really. This leads to a fishing and observation pier and a covered pavilion with picnic tables. There's a sandy beach nearby with a large swimming area and a boat launch at the end of the road.
That's a bald eagle sunning itself in a tree. Nearby we discovered a nest and made a plan to come back in the Spring to see if the eagle is nesting. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
