With a hard freeze coming I cut all the Spanish tarragon the other day. I got five big bunches from two plants. Yesterday it was warm on the back porch so I put the bunches on a board to dry in the sun on top of the kiln. Later I forgot about them. This morning I remembered they were still on the back porch. It's 25 F or -4 C. Maybe I've succeeded in making freeze dried tarragon. Hope so. I hate to think the herb is wasted now. What do you think?
Note: Perhaps I wasn't clear in above paragraph; the kiln is not on; I placed the board on top of the kiln because the sun was shining there.
Forgotten in the back of a closet under the stairway I found my pottery books and more. We've lived here two months shy of two years and I'm just now going to unpack them. It's indoor work and sock wearing weather that's for sure. Ha.
Here's a box full of journals or some such. What will I discover?
Two more boxes and an errant foot. Wonder what's in these two? Stay tuned. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
