Thankfully this week we sold all the heavy stuff. The large and bulky furniture is now gone which will make moving much easier. Our sectional sofa, dining table, and dining hutch were very heavy; now our minds are lighter knowing they're gone.
We're especially happy all our furniture went to good homes, please keep reading for the miracle.
We also sold our patio table which we had moved into the kitchen because we already sold our dinette table. We ate dinner at a fold up table tonight, happy to do so. Ha.
The gentleman who bought our dining room furniture and patio table had me counting my blessings today, a reminder to me to stay in the present while looking forward. Some years ago he was working on a scaffold 68 feet in the air and all the welds on the scaffold broke and he fell to the ground. He broke his neck and back and wasn't expected to live. But he was alive and was air lifted to a trauma hospital. He was so precarious they couldn't operate on his injuries for two weeks. The doctors said he'd most likely be paralyzed from the neck down for life. Somehow they stabilized him and eventually repaired his neck and back. After many surgeries and complications, one being a small stroke, he's made a full recovery. I think he is living proof miracles do happen. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
