This bowl is another attempt at an oblong pedestal bowl I made some time ago. I decided the feet on the previous bowl were too small for the size of the bowl. This time I enlarged the feet to fit the whole bottom.
Here's the interior but it's difficult to see the depth of the bowl from this angle. I'm not sure I like three rings touching for feet; next time I might try one big ring for the pedestal. I like to document the piece freshly made to compare the colors to the bisque fired piece. I never know how these colors will fire. Will they be bright or pastel, we shall see.
At the farmer's market the rain held off till the end of the market and lots of new pots found new homes. Several more folks expressed interest in taking pottery classes. A big thank you to all my new pottery collectors. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
