Flea Market Finds

A while ago Gary and found two adjustable chairs at the flea market. I thought these would be perfect for working at the pottery wheel. Leave it tall for throwing standing up and reduce the height for throwing sitting down. I think the wood is solid birch; they're well made. If the seat is too hard I can easily make an elastic edged cushioned seat cover.

The back adjusts up or down. I also think it can be removed completely.

The legs adjust up or down. Gary has one set up at his work bench in the garage.

Yesterday I saw these file folder holders and immediately thought of plate stackers for my pottery booth. They could also be used to transport plates in a box to shows.

Here are my square and round plates in the stacker. I guess I better get busy and make more plates to fill up the stackers.

Another idea I had was to print a collage of greenware photos in a sign for my booth with a title saying "Coming Soon". It will encourage visitors to come back the next week to see what new pottery I have. This week I could have made a collage of the lidded containers and shell bowls.  Now where are my acrylic sign holders? So many ideas so little time.

I finally got a chance to stop by the printers about making a booth banner and printing some blank note cards and prints with my original photographs. They don't supply the cellophane covers for the note cards. Do you know of anyone who sells those? Stay tuned for more about those next week or so. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
