Here's the interior of one of my ribbon vessels fresh out of the kiln.
Here's the exterior of the one above made of speckled stoneware. You can almost count the layers of ribbon and tell how tall these vessels are.
This vessel is white stoneware and is the nicest one of the group as far as glaze variation.
With some of these I experimented to see what a difference using the same glaze on speckled stoneware and white stoneware would make. This one is on speckled stoneware.

This is speckled stoneware.
This is a lavender celadon on speckled stoneware, not the best color to my eye but it has an earthy appeal with the speckles showing through.
A red glaze on white stoneware. This red really reflects the light.
