Here are the fish platters after the final firing. The fish really do look like they are swimming under water. They have a satin clear glaze over the top.
I took photos of the fish platters with different background colors, (backdrops), just to see if there is a difference in the look.The background color seems to emphasize the color in the platters, interesting to note. The first two are taken outside and the third one inside in a natural lighted room. I like the middle on the best for these.
I'd like to make platters with an even edge so they could be stacked; then I could make a set of them to use as plates. Or I could also make a set of them in different sizes and they could be stacked up like nesting bowls. There I go again thinking up more ideas. Ha.
