We measured the space for the refrigerator and it supposed to just fit. We could have purchased a smaller refrigerator but we wanted this size because of the larger freezer space and the ice and water in the door. Not all spaces are perfectly square but we anticipated that. We planned to cut out one side of the sheet rock and replace it with
lauan (thin plywood sheet of mahogany) to make it fit. The refrigerator now fits and we'll add a molding around the outside edges to disguise the cut on the left side. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
