We did quite well at the Trash to Treasures sale on Friday. We sold mostly pottery and a few odds and ends. In a booth nearby I spotted this vintage
lava lamp and decided to purchase it. I guess that's a drawback to the sale - finding something to buy and reducing our take home. Gary and I both like turquoise so I couldn't resist the lamp. It will look good in our new basement room.
Apparently this lava lamp was called the Enchantress Planter Lava Lamp. Originally it would have come with plastic flowers. I think I'll find some turquoise marbles or stones to put in the tray. A local garden shop asked me to stop in and see if I'd like to put some of my pottery in their store on consignment. Next week I'll stop in there and check it out.
