Today I purchased a
Samsung WB350F point and shoot camera. Beans are on the menu for the rest of the month, but I think the sacrifice might be worth it. Arriving home I was promptly intimidated. But I persevered and searched the internet for a video on how to use my new camera.
So far I know how to take photos in the automatic setting. Taking a break from conquering my
digital fears, I made this large oval
woven basket this afternoon. It's about 18 inches across the long side. It took me quite a while to complete, about four hours or so. I added feet so I can glaze the basket inside and out.
While I was weaving the basket it reminded me of making lattice pie crusts in years gone by. Hope this basket holds together. Meanwhile I learned how to send photos from my camera directly to my email wirelessly. How cool is that. I have much more to learn but I'm plugging along conquering digital fears.
This is the first photo I took with my new camera. The photo is taken from our deck on the side yard. The tree just turning color is a
native maple. When it reaches peak it will be a wonderful peachy coral color. Stay tuned for more autumn views because the
