Wedding Pillows
I designed and made the two patchwork pillows on the bed for Gary as a wedding present, almost twenty eight years ago. They have inner pillows filled with goose down feathers. The patchwork outer pillows have a velcro opening on one edge so they can be washed. Thanks for reading and for all your comments and White Rabbit to you.
Hello Linda:
ReplyDeleteBinky and Butter clearly enjoy lying on your patchwork quilt too. They, and it, are lovely!
Happy May Day!!
Hi Jane and Lance, thanks, they have the life of Riley don't they?
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice blog. Beautiful pictures and I really like Binky and Butter. Have a nice start of May.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Elna
Hi Elna, thanks so much, Binky and Butter are buddies, I just stopped by your blog and love your cat in the basket.
ReplyDeleteI love the bird houses. I've been thinking about making some then you and Tracey Broome post pictures. Maybe it's a sign.
ReplyDeleteThe pillows and quilt are beautiful, you're a woman of many talents.
Beautiful photos. I love the cracker birdhouse with the little visitor on it. Thinking of you this morning, on White Rabbit day.
ReplyDeleteWell, what everyone else said...but also, what were the 3 brick pillars originally for, if anything? Love the pots on top of them, just as if they were made to hold beautiful jars!
ReplyDeleteBinky and Butter look so sweet together on the bed. The pillows are beautiful... you have so many talents!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of White Rabbit Day before. I googled it and found out that it's been around for some time. I can't help wondering how it all got started!
ReplyDeleteSymmetrical kitty cats!
ReplyDeletesweet Linda- and I could use me some white rabbit mojo today!
ReplyDeleteLove your book end cats and the apartment birdhouse.
ReplyDeleteOne more month I forgot the rabbit. I don't think I am meant to say the magic words.
Hi Lori, thanks, bird houses are so beautiful in ceramic, but my Gary was pointing out that they can get really hot in the sun, so they'd have to be hung in the shade or used decoratively.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, isn't that a hoot the lizard was there and I noticed just as I was about to shoot the photo.
Hi Barbara, thanks, those brick pillars were in front of a house with an iron gate which I neglected to take a photo of, the house was one of the really narrow houses placed on a narrow lot and it was three stories. Looks like the pillars were from an older home though because the house was much newer than the pillars and gate.
Hi Michele, thanks, I made those pillow years ago, I still like all the fabrics and quilting but never seem to get around to doing it any more, one of these days, there are all kinds of short cuts for patchwork now that weren't available when I used to sew quilts.
Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, I should have linked to it but forgot, interesting isn't it and it is other countries too.
Hi Melissa, thanks, symmetrically napping kittens, I thought they looked so sweet together lying there. Ha.
Hi Meredith, thanks, yes I could use of that mojo for sure.
Hi Patti, thanks, bookends, what a good observation. Ha. Your blog are the magic words.
