Cornish-Windsor Bridge

The Cornish-Windsor Bridge is the longest covered bridge in the United States.

It's the longest two span bridge in the world.

Walk your horses or pay two dollars for a fine.

Driving though the bridge. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. That's so great that they let cars go through a historic bridge! Must be well made.

  2. My reaction is the same. It appears to be trussed up overhead like the covered bridge near me; I wonder what's under the rubber on the road.

  3. It's interesting that you had to walk your horse but you can drive your car through it. It looks like a beautiful spot.

  5. There are so many beautiful covered bridges in NH. If you get to Littleton, NH, in the White Mts. there is a really nice one there that crosses the Ammonoosuc River. It's not an old bridge - it was built in 2004 for foot traffic. Littleton is great little town to explore. Chutters store has the world's longest candy counter!
