Oh so pretty! There's something about watching trees change with the seasons! Our maples (mostly swamp maples) are just about done but the beech and oaks have just begun to change. The somber reds and rusts of the oaks lit up by the gold of the beeches does not have the spectacular color of other trees but has a somber beauty of its own. Winter is coming!
This time of year the maples really show off beautifully. You’re fortunate to have so many around you.
ReplyDeleteLovely, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, thanks, this particular one right at the edge of the forest is so nice as I can see it clearly from our front deck.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, oh the colors are so beautiful, too bad we have so many leave to contend with when they all drop. oh well

Hi Suzi, thanks, oh I hope you post some photos of your trees too, especially the beech.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I want to see Beech in the fall. I live on Beech St. and I haven't seen a single beech tree on it!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, thanks, I wonder if they are native this far south, we saw some in NH but they were green when we were there.
