You know how the first day of each month I try to remember to say rabbit rabbit. Well I thought I should make a few rabbits to commemorate those dates.
Everyone seemed to get snow with the last storm but all we got was ice. You can see the frost, really ice on the mountain across the valley. Today may be a different story. We shall see. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Their expressions are great.
ReplyDeleteIn the picture it looks like Rime on the mountain. Whatever, it’s very pretty.
Hi Lori, thanks, yes it is frozen rain on the tree branches, this morning it is snowing. once I drove over Richard Russel after an ice storm and all the trees were covered with about four inches of ice on all their branches and trunks it was truly mesmerizing but I didn't have my camera, maybe someday I'll see it again and take a photo.
ReplyDeleteLovely rabbits! Keep warm, Linda!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, thanks, it's definitely cold out there
DeleteIt may be above freezing on Sunday. Anything about zero is like basking the the Florida sun, lately.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, funny how a few degrees makes all the difference.
DeleteYour rabbits look surprised! Cute little faces.
ReplyDeleteI am anxiously waiting for this cold snap to end. I don't even want to know what our electric bill will be next month... we have to use the electric heat in the bathroom and our gas heater goes on in the living room, even when the wood stove is burning. I want spring so badly!
Hi Michele, thanks, they have holes in their mouth because they won't be jars but just sculptures. Gary said i should have made the ears bigger, next time, our electric was pretty high for last month, this month, ugh, we are using propane too so that isn't cheap. Wish we had a wood stove here but no place to put one really will think about that for the next house if we move.
DeleteOoh wow...those are so much fun!!! Stay warm...
ReplyDeleteHi Turquoisemoon, thanks, it's snowing here and supposed to have wind chill below 0, I am feeling sorry for the birds and animals.
ReplyDeleteI love your rabbit sculptures, and the cat jar from a couple of days ago. I also really love the view out your window, you can snuggle up nice and warm with the kit kats and see the snow on the mountains.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, oh you have no idea how cold it is here, well maybe you do, all the cats are sleeping on the same bed together and are feeling really cooped up staying inside, but it's a necessity.
ReplyDeletegreat rabbits!
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith, thanks, being cooped up has some advantages. ha.
ReplyDeleteI try, but mostly forget, so I now usually say "White Rabbits" before I go to sleep on the last night of the month! :)
