Yesterday I set out to make some salt cellars but somehow I ended up with these two canisters. They're about 9 inches tall and 5 inches wide. I see I have some sanding to do on the lids. Today I'll try again for the salt cellars. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Sometimes the clay decides to do what it wants to do!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the very interesting texture you have used on the surfaces?
Hi Suzi, thanks, those are from little bisque stamps I have.
DeleteQuite large enough for tea bags or coffee.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, yes they are the perfect size for both those items.
DeleteYay lidded forms. I'm in the same mood these days...and the size should vary!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, thanks, yes I need to make lots of sizes, I'm workining on it. Ha.
DeleteMaybe you should start with a smaller ball of clay (hehehe).
ReplyDeleteHi Lori, thanks, I started with a large slab of clay. I'll divide into smaller pieces today. Ha.
