At my local building supply I saw this antherium. I'm usually not attracted to the color red but the flowers remind me of Hawaii so I decided to splurge. I do much better with outdoor plants than indoor plants so we shall see about this one. When I got home I noticed it really needs to be repotted so I'm thinking of making a flower pot for it. Maybe this lipstick matt red might match the blossoms.
The garden has sported a lone pink tulip.
And the crabapple I planted last year is blooming. Soon the other crabapple will be in full bloom and it is spectacular. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
My anthuriums did better indoors as they didn't like direct sunlight. Good luck with yours.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, I was surprised this one has smaller flowers I hope it does well.
DeleteThat glaze will be perfect on a pot for your new plant.
ReplyDeleteI wish all these Spring blooms lasted longer, but maybe that is why we they are so special to us.
Hi Michele, thanks, my perennial garden is just starting to come back to life, looking forward to that, and hopefully will add more as I can afford it to extend the bloom season.
DeleteLove, love that red pot! It's so good to see things from the ground blooming.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, yes the ground is warming up and warming my thoughts too.
DeleteI havent been getting your blog posted on my blog, or maybe you've been on a break. I agree, that red pot is just right for the new plant.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, my blog still doesn't update as it should not sure what is wrong in that area but I haven't been posting as often either.
DeleteI too do better with outdoor plants.
ReplyDeleteThe red pot and the anthurium will look brilliant together.
Hi Elephant's Child, thanks, that pot is a tiny one so I'll be making a larger one for the antherium.
