Remember my bench with the plants sitting on the deck? I wanted a couple of tables to place the plants upon. The bench looks pale in comparison, hum.
At my local flea market I found a couple for $5 but they were beige. I got some flat black paint.
Gary took them out back and painted them and they are just perfect for their new location. You never know what you might find at a flea market that can be re-purposed into a treasure. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Perfect companion for your bench.
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith, thanks, it's nice to have a place to put your coffee in the morning.
DeleteThey look great with your turquoise planters! I spent the better part of a day at a local estate auction, two saturday's ago, hoping to bid on a wrought iron patio set from either the late 70's or early 80's. I had a budget and in no time the bidding was outside of that. My plan was to spray paint it aqua or turquoise. Oh well... it wasn't meant to be :-/
ReplyDeleteHi Michele, thanks, keep your eyes peeled you never know, craigslist and garage sales often have inexpensive pieces. In Florida on trash day we got one on the side of the road for free and Gary painted it up, later we sold it for a profit.
DeleteThey look great - and I love that bench.
ReplyDeleteHi Elephant's Child, thanks, that bench was fairly inexpensive and we got it at a big box store.
DeleteNice find! Love the bench and the planters too.
ReplyDeleteHi Marguerite, thanks, a little pot of color against our pale house siding.

ReplyDeleteHi Dennis, thanks, I was rather surprised to find something so quickly to put the plants upon.
