The Beach is Much Closer

For several years we have been saving and saving to be able to afford a camping trailer to go on a vacation to the beach. We also have been searching and searching for the least expensive but best maintained camping trailer we could find. We both enjoy time at the beach and the times we've visited the beach have been the most relaxing. We determined paying for an RV spot for a camping trailer and taking our own food would be less expensive than staying in a hotel and going out to restaurants.

We'll also be able to take more trips than just a single vacation. We have reached that age where we realize if we don't do something now we may not have the opportunity to do it later. In years past we'd camp out in a tent but our old bodies are much less limber than years ago so we require a little creature comforts. We're going on the fourth year living here and a vacation is high on our list. Other than a short trip to visit relatives we haven't been anywhere in a very long time.

The other thing about purchasing a used camping trailer is, later if we need to, we can sell it and recoup the money invested in the camper. Today Gary will pick up our camping trailer and we'll go through it to be sure it's all safe and secure and then plan a trip to the beach. Stay tuned for more.
