Who doesn't like a field full of wildflowers? I decided to splurge on some seeds for two slightly barren sections in my yard.
Since the seeds are very small I plan to mix them with sand and then broadcast them over the ground. To simulate the freeze and thaw of winter I can also put them in the freezer in a plastic bag and then take them out and repeat several times. I'll check the seed company website to see if this process has already been done with these seeds. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Brilliant. I am really looking forward to seeing them in flower.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, I hope I have good germinate rate for these. we shall see.
DeleteGood luck with that. It will be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, I hope the birds don't eat all the seeds, the directions says to broadcast them over the top of the ground.
DeleteLet's hope they grow and spread like wild flowers! :)
