After spending all that time finding the crate, gift boxes, and making the nests for the birds, I realize the birds look better perched together in a group. My favorite bird is the lavender one with the open beak and more defined wings. I think I have four other birds but they are packed. Lots of folks looked at the birds but I didn't sell a single one. I did sell a lot of other pottery so that was just fine. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

DeleteDon't pack them away. At the next show. when someone handles them, as they must, I'd say "Nice hostess gift" or "Do you know a child who'd love to see that on the dresser?", or some such ice breaker.

DeleteLinda, how about putting a slice into their back and making them 'place card holders' ? They would look cute on a spring or summer luncheon table.
