I plan to glue a long wood or wire stem into a hole I have made in the bottom so these can be displayed in the garden, or in a houseplant for color. or they could be placed in a vase as an everlasting flowers. I hope to make refinements to the construction and make more of these. I am also planning to make some mushrooms or toadstools. I leave you with a peony from my garden. Happy Mother's Day to you all. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

Love your flowers, real and ceramic.
ReplyDeleteAnd a happy Mother's Day to you too.
Hi Sue, thanks, summer has hit here over night, have a good one.
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Joanne, thanks, can't wait to see how they look in the garden. Want to mark the edge of my garden walkway and they'd be good for that.
ReplyDeleteI do like ceramic flowers, Linda. And I think the stamins add a lot. However, the ones without could be used for other things too.
ReplyDeleteHi Rian, thanks, I was thinking the large one if they were more of a cup they could be used for bird seed and if I made them larger they could be a small bird bath.
ReplyDeleteNice ceramic flowers and they would make a great arrangement in a vase or garden.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, we shall see, will make more to attempt an arrangement of sorts.
ReplyDeleteI like your blue one with the yellow stamens too... love peony flowers but don't have the right conditions here to grow them so lucky you
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, thanks, the peony was one of the few things growing here when we moved, guess they like the cooler summer weather. First year it got one flower, this year it has gotten 6 or 7, regular water and mulch help.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely, Linda. Well done. :)
