Queen Anne's Lace Deco

Every year the Queen Anne's lace blooms in profusion and I am drawn to the blossoms like a moth to a flame. This year I picked more blossoms to use in my pottery. It amazes me that a plant so mundane as a wild carrot could have such a delicate and beautiful blossom.
Here are a few pieces from years past. Green isn't such a popular color, even though these have all sold, it was slowly. This year I'll try glazes such as blue, coral and perhaps even white or yellow, We shall see.
I'll be at the farmers market today from 7 am to 1 pm, although it may be a wash out since we're expecting lots of rain. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. They are so dainty...and how clever of you to use them in your pottery. Your pieces will be very popular, I imagine. :)

    1. Hi Lee, thanks, they are very dainty and wilt almost immediately when picked but if put in water they don't wilt.
