I could almost eat a bowl full of this pico de gallo. It's a combination of chopped fresh home grown cherry tomatoes, shallots, garlic, mixed colors of bell peppers, poblano peppers (blistered, skins removed then chopped), cilantro, lime juice and cumin powder.
Pico de gallo is the perfect way to use up all the cherry tomatoes my plants are producing. Once again I'll be at the farmers market on Saturday morning. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Hold the cilantro and I would be there with you.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, cilantro is an acquired taste, dh used to hate it now he loves it.
DeleteSounds delicious, for those who can eat peppers...without them I'd love this! I've got a bunch of seeds on my cilantro plants, I wonder if they're any good. I'll try starting some just to see if they are worth keeping to try in the spring.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, oh no peppers, how sad, I love peppers but not green bell peppers. I think the seeds should be good to plant.
DeleteThis looks very tasty! I have never made this before. Thank you Linda :)
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, thanks, oh it was very tasty, had some again today since I made this big batch
