Something Big and Under Cover

To keep up with demand I must keep making soap dishes, butter dishes, appetizer trays, sponge holders, ornaments, pendants, etc. To ensure an adequate supply I set a rule for myself that I can't make anything out of the ordinary or what I truly desire to make till I get the easier selling pieces made. You have no idea how difficult this is for me to accomplish. I am often not motivated and reluctant to make the quick selling items which, in turn, keeps me from making what I want to make, which leads to a catch 22 much of the time.
Finally this week I felt I had accomplished making enough of the quicker selling items to delve into a larger piece. Finally I made something big and it's under cover; I hope it drys nicely and meets my expectations. Hint some driftwood might be involved. The piece is about 15 by 15 inches. I have several other pieces in mind; I hope I don't run out of any quick selling items to prevent me from my true passion. I'll be at the farmers market Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. Right this minute you're selling those little pieces that pay bread and butter...and thus support your creativity. Can't wait to see this one!

    1. Hi Rian, thanks, I hate to be a tease but I don't really want anyone seeking it without the driftwood and it's a bit precarious on that rack on my work station. Tomorrow I'll move it and make the next idea that I came up with.

You put me to shame. Today I am being very lazy...intentionally...because we're in for a hot day! :)
