Dandelions

If you see a dandelion in your lawn, be happy, if you see many dandelions, be even happier. Dandelions are one of the first wildflowers to bloom in spring and provide bees with valuable nutrition after a long winter, not only that but dandelion greens and flowers are edible, and dandelion roots can be made into a tea.   2. I haven't had the tea. Yet. And there are plenty of dandelions here. I even like their clocks - though I resist blowing them.

  3. I love dandelion greens in a good salad. Yet another reason to avoid pesticides and weed killers.
    Dandelion wine is nice too.
