Blue - Best Dog Ever

Blue the best dog ever - we had a dog for 10 years at one location and every once in a while in the summer we'd find a single sock in our front yard and we coulnd't figure it out because the sock was always freshly laundered. One day, the day we happened to be moving out, we couldn't find our dog and we were calling her and our neighbor called out and said she is up here. So we went up there, and in his garage he happened to be pulling his laundry out of the dryer. He proceeded to tell us how periodically she'd come to visit him and steal one sock. We proceeded to tell him how periodically we'd find one sock in our wooded front yard and never knew how it got there. All those years we'd found one of his socks and all those years he never let us know our dog was stealing his socks. Of course we apologized and he brushed it off as a innocent prank. There she is in all her glory, she passed away many years ago but we still miss her, all these years gone by. I know, two animal stories in one day on my blog, but sometimes you have to latch onto the good things in life; and tell them loudly because we need these stories. The kitten there is Princess, the first day out on the deck she caught a huge green grasshopper and proceeded to eat it, we knew she was a hunter. She is also long gone but not forgotten.
