No Marbling T Bone Steak Not Tough


So many folks said these steaks would be tough.
Sorry, but you were all wrong.
I marinated one steak for the two of us for 1-1/2 hours.
Marinade: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce,
soy sauce, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
Here's the marinated steak ready to go on the mini Weber.
I did not pat the steak dry before placing on the grill.
along with some hickory chips when the briquets are ready.
I made a chimichurri sauce and roasted potatoes.
Chimichurri Sauce: fresh parlsey, fresh cilantro, green onion,
olive oil, vinegar, fresh minced garlic, salt and pepper.
I had the small side of the T bone.

Gary had the large side of the steak.
He added his chimichurri sauce a little at a time.
It took 8 minutes on one side and 4 on the other.
Marbling isn't everything,
 sometimes it's the preparation and how it's cooked.
Can't wait to cook the next one.
