Pink Dogwood

The pink dogwood blossoms are smaller this year
I think several frosts got to them.

The tree is a crowded because the golden shrub
is planted too close. The shrub was supposed to be
a compact variety, a reason to be sure of what you are buying.
I am hoping the dogwood will outdistance the shrub
and both can coexist in that location. We shall see.
