Goldfinch
I was sitting in a chair on my deck when
I spied what I thought was a bright butterfly.
On closer inspection I saw it what a Goldfinch.
Of course I didn't have my camera
and if I got up to get it he's fly away.
He was pecking away at a flower seed head.

Usually I clip all the flower seed heads
so I'll get more flowers but I'm glad I missed one.
What a charmer.
