Rosemary and Gomphrena
The other day at the nursery I was struck with the color
of this plant Gomphrena globosa.
I decided the plants would look nice with my rosemary.
The flowers last a very long time and feel like straw.
I just read it is in the amaranth family and the leaves are edible.
You probably noticed I am drawn to plants especially uncommon ones.
Gomphrena is new to me - and very pretty.
