Landscape Contractor

Landscape Contractor

A tidbit from my past, I am a retired landscape contractor from California. Above is the original logo I designed for my business. A black oak leaf and acorn. I used a real leaf to get the shape just right. I passed my contractor's test in 1988, so long ago.

I had t shirts made with my company name and the oak leaf logo. I still have one of these shirts somewhere around here. I retired my license in 2010. If you see a little old lady hobbling around in the grocery store, she most assuredly is more than what you might suspect. This time of year is the time to give thanks and reflect back on what you, yourself, have accomplished and be proud of yourself. Everyone truly deserves thanks for what they have done and continue to do. Being proud of yourself is not selfish, it's a celebration of a life well lived.

  1. I struggle to be proud of myself. Old lessons die hard.
You are so right that what you see is rarely what you get where people are concerned. I didn't know you had been a landscaper. Well done.
