2 cups whole milk
1 cup polenta (fine corn grits)
1-1/2 cups grated cheddar or cheese of your choice
Heat water and milk then whisk in polenta. Cook till thickened about 30 minutes or more, then stir in grated cheese. Serve immediately. Today I have left over polenta, I might try frying some polenta cakes. We shall see.
